Tom Moult has spent almost thirty-five years in the world of advertising agencies and has worked with more major clients – both national and international – in more categories, across more disciplines that he cares to remember.
Until late 2012 he was the Executive Chairman of Ogilvy Australia, Australia’s largest advertising agency group. He’s been the Chairman of the Australian operation the French group Havas, he founded his own successful agency, The Moult Agency (which he sold to Havas after five years of operation) and was with Euro RSCG in Australia for a decade, rising to CEO and Chairman. He’s also worked with Saatchi & Saatchi and with JWT in Sydney and in London.
Euro RSCG was voted “Digital Agency of the Year” five times and “AdNews National Agency of the Year” in 2000. The Moult Agency was the winner of “AdNews Emerging Agency of the Year” in its first year.
Somewhat unusually for someone more associated with running agency businesses, his background was in the creative side of the business. He has been both a judge of The Cannes Lions – The International Advertising Festival in Cannes and, over the years, a winner of bronze, silver and gold Lions for his work.
Tom is now the Principal of Walker Moult. Given his experience across all aspects of the business and the increasingly complex and fractured media and agency landscape that advertisers find themselves working in, Tom offers advertisers senior, independent and discreet marketing and advertising counsel.
