One of the true legends of the business, John Fawcett was named as one of the top 10 creative talents of the decade by UK marketing magazine ‘Campaign’, one of the top three creative directors in a poll conducted by ‘Business Review Weekly’ and one of the top creative talents of the decade by the ‘Campaign Brief Creative Circle Survey’.
He has been recognized for numerous awards from major festivals around the world and appointed as judge in many of them – including the Clios and Cannes.
After many years at legendary agency George Patterson, John rose through the ranks from National Creative Director through to National CEO before being promoted as the first Global Creative Director for Bates Worldwide in New York in 1998.
He structured “The Communications Group”, Australia’s first and largest independent buying group to bill 1 billion dollars.
He returned to Australia in 2003 as the National Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer for George Patterson Partners before leaving Patts in 2005 to build his own businesses.
He is a consummate business leader spearheading successful business and marketing programs in the communications industry worldwide.
He is now the Managing Director of Balucate and the Chairman of Headstrong Cognitive Fitness as well as continuing to be sought out as an advisor and consultant to well known communication agencies.
