Andrew is an award winning strategic thinker who has been an agency planner for 25 years.

He has been the planning lead across a wide range of brands and categories around the world – working across a wider range major brands, mostly at the J. Walter Thompson network. For 11 years he was the Head of Planning at JWT Sydney and subsequently acted as an internal consultant as Head of Insights for nearly 5 years.

Andrew now is a freelance consultant on brand strategy projects, seeking to leverage his experience and skill at working with a stakeholder group to consolidate and refine strategic brand thinking and get to a succinct and compelling expression of “the point” of a brand. He loves to work on projects where the brand is used as a key level of business to ensure it is  meaningfully differentiated now, and into the future.

He also is now also a part time Lecturer at the UTS School of Communications – lecturing and tutoring both undergraduate and post graduate students in the Public Communications Program.  In 2018 has also commenced as PhD candidate at UTS, starting research into Advertising Ideas and their role in behaviour change communications strategies .
