Agencies? Independents? Consultancies? What is the future of the comms industry?

October 2, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The communications industry has never been in more of a state of flux.

Clients are questioning the value of the agencies they work with, so they’re looking around, but they still want a one stop shop where they don’t want to double up on their fees.

Agencies are struggling to maintain their margins and retain the best people within the existing model but can’t seem to find a way to reinvigorate a new one.

Consultancies are offering services that were traditionally an agency’s domain and they’re staffing up with senior ex agency leaders – the ones that some clients didn’t want to pay for when they were in agencies.

Independents are finding the sweet spot and offering new models and agility – but is their pricing sustainable and can they afford to provide the best people?

Tonight we’re bringing together some of the best from each area to discuss and debate the future of the industry.

Representing the holding companies and multinational agencies is Rose Herceg – Chief Strategy Officer at WPPAUNZ.

Representing the independent agencies is Lorraine Jokovic – CEO of LOUD Communications

Representing the consultancies is Andrew Baxter – Senior Advisor at KPMG

and representing the client is Sharon Parker, Head of Business Development & Marketing at Gilbert & Tobin.

Rochelle Burbury, Principal at Third Avenue Consulting is bringing her expertise and experience as a former media and marketing editor to be the expert moderator for the panel.

This is going to be an incredible evening and if you’re in the industry you won’t want to miss it – add to the discussion in advance by sending through a question when you book your ticket!

As usual, tickets include wine, beer, cider and nibbles.
